MyAnimeList may be offered as an independent connected service. Connecting MAL is separate from Tsuiseki sign-in and authorizes only the limited account and library access described before connection. Connecting does not import titles and does not create continuing or two-way synchronization.

A review you request temporarily retrieves the permitted tracking details without changing either Library. A separate import action may add only missing titles after Tsuiseki checks their identities and your remaining Library capacity. Existing Tsuiseki progress and status are preserved. Conflicts, unsupported records, duplicate records, retrieval failures, and over-capacity rows are not silently added or used to overwrite existing records.

Approved imported fields are limited to stable MAL media identity, anime or manga classification, title, allowlisted catalogue artwork, mapped list status and progress, useful totals, and a limited provider update timestamp. Tsuiseki does not import MAL notes, comments, scores, tags, priority, reread or rewatch fields, visibility, social data, credentials, or arbitrary URLs.

Tsuiseki stores the connected MAL account identity and encrypted credentials while connected. Disconnecting removes Tsuiseki’s local connection and pending authorization or preview attempts. It does not delete your MAL account or completed Tsuiseki Library records.

MAL controls its own account, API, availability, terms, and privacy practices. Tsuiseki is not affiliated with or endorsed by MyAnimeList merely because the connection is available.

Reading discovery uses MangaUpdates catalogue evidence. Its exact work records may also supply work metadata, reviewed genre-based classification and eligible promotional covers. These roles are separate from reader destinations and chapter release authority. An optional, limited MangaBaka API bridge can help verify external identifier relationships under its applicable data licence. A separately permission-gated fallback can use MangaBaka’s English-language annotation for an exact title already declared by MangaUpdates, when no accepted English title is available. MangaUpdates supplies the text; MangaBaka supplies the annotation, which is not an independent identity or text witness. MangaBaka does not own Tsuiseki identities or supply artwork, adult classification, or latest-chapter information through these integrations. A matching identifier still requires current MangaUpdates evidence and an existing accepted Tsuiseki owner before a reader destination can be enrolled.

Between Our Worlds (BOW) is no longer used to retrieve or update shared title information. Its historical identifiers and source history may remain in Tsuiseki’s records; they do not authorize new imports, identity decisions, or current release claims.

Tsuiseki combines accepted, exact-owned catalogue evidence from sources including MyAnimeList, Shikimori, Kitsu, and MangaDex. Their roles differ: catalogue identity, descriptive metadata, title classification, and artwork are separate from reading destinations and current release authority. Kitsu and MangaDex may contribute exact identity and classification evidence; MangaDex is not a Tsuiseki Reading destination. A catalogue identifier or cover resemblance never authorizes a merge or a media link.

Tsuiseki maintains its own season records: stable title relationships, verified alternative identifiers, groups that span different series, season order, supporting sources, corrections, saved Season Stacks, and their change history. Being in the same group is recorded separately from a direct sequel or prequel relationship.

AnimeSchedule.net may be used as an optional schedule and continuity enrichment source under written permission granted for Tsuiseki’s disclosed commercial use. Where an AnimeSchedule-derived claim appears, Tsuiseki provides contextual attribution such as “Schedule and continuity data by AnimeSchedule.net” or “Data by AnimeSchedule.net.” The permission does not authorize unrelated use, unrestricted catalogue redistribution, or publication of complete source responses.

AniList identifiers may remain to match records across services. Tsuiseki’s title identities and ordinary tracking features do not depend on live AniList requests. Any retained use is limited to controlled imports, matching between services, or separately reviewed last-resort lookups when stronger saved or source-specific evidence is unavailable; failed lookups never justify combining titles based only on their names.

Public and signed-in season views use Tsuiseki’s own saved records. They do not send each user’s Library to continuity providers, and opening a season group does not itself request new information from a provider.

External media destinations appear only after Tsuiseki resolves a limited provider candidate for the title and requested chapter or episode. You choose the destination, and it opens in a new tab. The original Tsuiseki tab remains available.

Adult-oriented external destinations remain hidden unless an authenticated user enables them in account settings after an 18+ self-declaration; this preference is not identity or age verification. Tsuiseki does not host or serve their media, and an adult-oriented provider label does not classify the underlying title.

Opening a destination does not update progress. Progress changes only after you use a separate Tsuiseki control such as Mark read or Update progress. MAL account identity, imported continuity metadata, or Season Stack membership cannot create a reading, streaming, download, or arbitrary destination.

Tsuiseki may classify a media destination provider as:

• Official: operated by, or directly representing, a publisher, studio, platform, or rights holder based on reviewed evidence.
• Licensed: presented as having distribution rights for relevant material based on reviewed evidence.
• Community: a community-operated destination or reader directory.
• Aggregator: a service that gathers or redirects to material from multiple sources.
• Unknown: not sufficiently verified for a stronger classification.
• Blocked: disabled by Tsuiseki policy.

Classifications are descriptive operational labels, not legal opinions, warranties, endorsements, or permanent guarantees. Unknown sources are never automatically promoted to official or licensed. A connected catalogue service or continuity metadata adapter is not automatically a media destination or provider classification.

Tsuiseki accepts only registered providers and provider-specific HTTPS hostnames and paths. It rejects credentials, private-network hosts, unexpected schemes, arbitrary client-supplied destinations, and URLs outside the registered provider policy.

A provider is usable only while its service setting and saved source policy are enabled, its classification is not blocked, its URL passes validation, and the exact destination has not been disabled. Final filtering runs after resolution so stale metadata cannot restore a blocked provider or link.

MAL account identity, review data, imported tracking records, and continuity metadata cannot create or authorize a reading, streaming, download, or arbitrary destination URL.

Tsuiseki does not fetch, store, cache, proxy, transform, or return:

• chapter page images or page-image arrays;
• chapter-page lists, reader access tokens, signatures, or data used to rebuild media;
• video, audio, HLS, DASH, stream, subtitle, or download manifests;
• provider cookies, authenticated reader/player sessions, or downloadable archives;
• screenshots or thumbnails generated from unofficial chapter or playback content.

Cubari and Miruro, when enabled, provide external handoffs rather than hosted media. MangaDOTnet, Manhuaus, and other enabled destinations remain subject to provider-specific validation and removal controls. Toraka links use saved matches for exact chapters and a reviewed list of contributing sites: Asura Scans, Flame Comics, Hive Toons, and MangaSushi. An unreviewed child site is not admitted automatically, and these links do not establish shared title identities or current release information.

Tsuiseki may request and temporarily cache limited catalogue metadata such as titles, identifiers, release numbers, schedules, source history, checked timestamps, and approved tracking fields needed for an explicit import. Tsuiseki may also retain limited validated external-destination mappings so previously reviewed official, licensed, community, or aggregator links can be reused and revalidated without rediscovering them on every request. Retained mappings remain subject to provider disablement, exact-destination blocks, reporting, review, and removal controls.

Saved season information may include title identifiers and alternative names or identifiers, titles in other languages needed for matching or display, dates and how precisely they are known, episode counts where needed, parent series, season numbers, verified groups, supporting sources, separately recorded direct relationships, saved Season Stacks, checksums used to identify changes, change details, and the times information was checked or observed.

Temporary source data and diagnostic records are limited and scheduled for deletion within seven days after a change is accepted or rejected. Tsuiseki does not publish complete provider catalogue responses or unmodified AnimeSchedule responses. Public title pages show a limited set of verified facts and do not offer unrestricted downloads of provider catalogues. Historical BOW source records stay within Tsuiseki. Shared facts may remain while needed by tracked titles, active season groups, supporting sources, reports, reviewed corrections, change history, or audits.

Approved promotional cover or backdrop artwork may be optimized from reviewed metadata-provider host and path families or served from Tsuiseki’s Cloudflare R2 catalogue-artwork mirror. Mirroring changes delivery, not ownership, attribution, title classification, or copyright status; presentation still applies the title’s access policy before choosing artwork. Arbitrary user URLs, chapter pages, reader screenshots, playback media, and unreviewed continuity-source artwork cannot enter the catalogue mirror or image optimizer.

Account avatar and Profile Studio hero uploads are separate, moderated submissions stored through Vercel Blob. They cannot become catalogue artwork or external reading destinations through upload.

Connected services and external websites control their own content, legality, subscriptions, advertising, geographic availability, cookies, privacy practices, accessibility, and security. Tsuiseki does not endorse every item available on a service merely by connecting, importing tracking or continuity data, or linking to it.

A connection or link may stop working, require renewed authorization, point to a series page instead of an exact chapter or episode, require payment, or be unavailable in your region. Tsuiseki may change or remove connections and links without preserving an equivalent replacement.

Source absence, a new Tsuiseki observation, or an incomplete local chain is not proof that a studio officially announced, cancelled, or completed a franchise. Tsuiseki uses limited factual wording and preserves source history where relevant.

Each handoff surface provides a Report this link control for incorrect destinations, copyright concerns, or other source problems. Tsuiseki stores only limited report information and never fetches the reported destination as part of submission.

Season continuity surfaces may also provide Report incorrect grouping. The client sends an approved reason against owned tracker context; the server resolves the affected chain and membership context. The report cannot submit arbitrary replacement relationships or catalogue authority.

An authorized administrator may correct or disable one destination, a title mapping, or an entire provider without deleting your Library progress. Authorized continuity administrators with recent additional sign-in verification may review aliases, evidence, chains, season numbers, ambiguity, overlays, and limited purge operations without rewriting tracker progress.

Eligible signed-in members can publish moderated Collections and Forum threads and replies when the relevant features are enabled. Profile features and reviewed image submissions have their own access and moderation controls. Public discovery pages do not grant permission to publish, bypass beta admission, or read another user’s private Library.

Contextual title and Collection discussions are a separate rollout and are not generally available. Community publishing does not allow arbitrary user-submitted reading, streaming, or download destinations to become trusted source links. Reports, moderation, and repeat-infringer controls apply to Tsuiseki-owned Community features.
