MyAnimeList may be offered as an independent connected service. Connecting MAL is separate from Tsuiseki sign-in and authorizes only the bounded account and library access described before connection. Connecting does not import titles and does not create continuing or two-way synchronization.

A user-requested review retrieves a short-lived, non-mutating snapshot of approved tracking fields. A separate import action may add only server-approved missing titles after Tsuiseki rechecks current identity and Library capacity. Existing Tsuiseki progress and status are preserved. Conflicts, unsupported records, duplicate records, retrieval failures, and over-capacity rows are not silently added or used to overwrite existing records.

Approved imported fields are limited to stable MAL media identity, anime or manga classification, title, allowlisted catalogue artwork, mapped list status and progress, useful totals, and a bounded provider update timestamp. Tsuiseki does not import MAL notes, comments, scores, tags, priority, reread or rewatch fields, visibility, social data, credentials, or arbitrary URLs.

Tsuiseki stores the connected MAL account identity and encrypted credentials while connected. Disconnecting removes Tsuiseki’s local connection and pending authorization or preview attempts. It does not delete your MAL account or completed Tsuiseki Library records.

MAL controls its own account, API, availability, terms, and privacy practices. Tsuiseki is not affiliated with or endorsed by MyAnimeList merely because the connection is available.

Tsuiseki may import bounded anime identity, season membership, release-window, and evidence metadata from Between Our Worlds. The reviewed BOW dataset is provided under CC0 1.0 Universal. BOW is an imported metadata substrate, not a live dependency for each Library visit and not the authority for Tsuiseki’s editorial cross-parent season chains.

Tsuiseki’s local Continuity Registry owns stable continuity identities, accepted aliases, cross-parent chain membership, ordering reconciliation, evidence, corrections, materialized stack state, and shared change events. Chain membership is stored separately from direct sequel or prequel claims.

AnimeSchedule.net may be used as an optional schedule and continuity enrichment source under written permission granted for Tsuiseki’s disclosed commercial use. Where an AnimeSchedule-derived claim appears, Tsuiseki provides contextual attribution such as “Schedule and continuity data by AnimeSchedule.net” or “Data by AnimeSchedule.net.” The permission does not authorize unrelated use, unrestricted catalogue redistribution, or raw-payload publication.

AniList identifiers may remain as external aliases and interoperability inputs. Live AniList GraphQL access is not Tsuiseki’s canonical media identity and is not required by normal core product paths. Where retained, it is limited to bounded server-side import/interoperability or explicitly reviewed terminal fallback cases when stronger local or provider-native evidence is unavailable; failures do not authorize title-only identity merges.

Public and authenticated Library continuity views read Tsuiseki’s local normalized registry. They do not send each user’s Library to BOW, AnimeSchedule, or AniList, and they do not make a provider request merely because a continuity disclosure is opened.

External media destinations appear only after Tsuiseki resolves a bounded provider candidate for the title and requested chapter or episode. You choose the destination, and it opens in a new tab. The original Tsuiseki tab remains available.

Adult-oriented external destinations remain hidden unless an authenticated user enables them in account settings after an 18+ self-declaration; this preference is not identity or age verification. Tsuiseki does not host or serve their media, and an adult-oriented provider label does not classify the underlying title.

Opening a destination does not update progress. Progress changes only after you use a separate Tsuiseki control such as Mark read or Update progress. MAL account identity, imported continuity metadata, or Season Stack membership cannot create a reading, streaming, download, or arbitrary destination.

Tsuiseki may classify a media destination provider as:

• Official: operated by, or directly representing, a publisher, studio, platform, or rights holder based on reviewed evidence.
• Licensed: presented as having distribution rights for relevant material based on reviewed evidence.
• Community: a community-operated destination or reader directory.
• Aggregator: a service that gathers or redirects to material from multiple sources.
• Unknown: not sufficiently verified for a stronger classification.
• Blocked: disabled by Tsuiseki policy.

Classifications are descriptive operational labels, not legal opinions, warranties, endorsements, or permanent guarantees. Unknown sources are never automatically promoted to official or licensed. A connected catalogue service or continuity metadata adapter is not automatically a media destination or provider classification.

Tsuiseki accepts only registered providers and provider-specific HTTPS hostnames and paths. It rejects credentials, private-network hosts, unexpected schemes, arbitrary client-supplied destinations, and URLs outside the registered provider policy.

A provider is usable only while its deployment flag and durable policy are enabled, its classification is not blocked, its URL passes validation, and the exact destination has not been disabled. Final filtering runs after resolution so stale metadata cannot restore a blocked provider or link.

MAL account identity, review data, imported tracking records, and continuity metadata cannot create or authorize a reading, streaming, download, or arbitrary destination URL.

Tsuiseki does not fetch, store, cache, proxy, transform, or return:

• chapter page images or page-image arrays;
• chapter page manifests, reader tokens, signatures, or media reconstruction payloads;
• video, audio, HLS, DASH, stream, subtitle, or download manifests;
• provider cookies, authenticated reader/player sessions, or downloadable archives;
• screenshots or thumbnails generated from unofficial chapter or playback content.

Cubari and Miruro, when enabled, are external destinations only. MangaDOTnet, Asura, Manhuaus, MangaDex, and other providers remain subject to independent enablement, validation, and removal controls.

Tsuiseki may request and temporarily cache bounded catalogue metadata such as titles, identifiers, release numbers, schedules, provider provenance, checked timestamps, and approved tracking fields needed for an explicit import. Tsuiseki may also retain bounded validated external-destination mappings so previously reviewed official, licensed, community, or aggregator links can be reused and revalidated without rediscovering them on every request. Retained mappings remain subject to provider disablement, exact-destination blocks, reporting, review, and removal controls.

Continuity imports may retain normalized subject identity, supported aliases, multilingual titles needed for resolution or presentation, date components and precision, episode count where needed, parent membership, season ordinals, accepted chain membership, evidence references, direct relations stored as separate claims, materialized stack state, hashes, diffs, and checked or observation timestamps.

Raw continuity staging and diagnostics are bounded and scheduled for purge within seven days after apply or reject. Tsuiseki does not expose a public BOW mirror, unrestricted catalogue enumeration, arbitrary subject browsing, raw JSON-LD, or raw AnimeSchedule payloads. Shared normalized facts may remain while referenced by tracker identities, active chains, evidence, reports, overlays, retained events, or audit.

Approved promotional cover or backdrop artwork may be optimized and temporarily cached through Tsuiseki’s hosting platform only from reviewed metadata-provider host and path families. Arbitrary user URLs, chapter pages, reader screenshots, playback media, and unreviewed continuity-source artwork cannot enter the image optimizer or Tsuiseki Blob storage.

Connected services and external websites control their own content, legality, subscriptions, advertising, geographic availability, cookies, privacy practices, accessibility, and security. Tsuiseki does not endorse every item available on a service merely by connecting, importing tracking or continuity data, or linking to it.

A connection or link may stop working, require renewed authorization, point to a series page instead of an exact chapter or episode, require payment, or be unavailable in your region. Tsuiseki may change or remove connections and links without preserving an equivalent replacement.

Source absence, a new Tsuiseki observation, or an incomplete local chain is not proof that a studio officially announced, cancelled, or completed a franchise. Tsuiseki uses bounded factual wording and preserves source provenance where relevant.

Each handoff surface provides a Report this link control for incorrect destinations, copyright concerns, or other source problems. Tsuiseki stores only bounded report information and never fetches the reported destination as part of submission.

Season continuity surfaces may also provide Report incorrect grouping. The client sends an approved reason against owned tracker context; the server resolves the affected chain and membership context. The report cannot submit arbitrary replacement relationships or catalogue authority.

An authorized administrator may correct or disable one destination, a title mapping, or an entire provider without deleting your Library progress. Authorized continuity administrators with fresh step-up may review aliases, evidence, chains, ordinals, ambiguity, overlays, and bounded purge operations without rewriting tracker progress.

Tsuiseki does not currently support public user publishing, comments, or arbitrary user-submitted reading and streaming URLs. Any future community feature requires a separate moderation, URL, reporting, and repeat-infringer review before launch.
