The rules for using Tsuiseki

Tsuiseki helps you organize anime and manga progress, connect selected independent catalogue services, explicitly import approved tracking data, and choose independent external destinations. It does not host manga chapters, anime episodes, streams, subtitles, or downloadable media. By using the Service, you agree to use it lawfully and respect the boundaries below.

1. Operator and agreement

Tsuiseki is operated by Keith Panlaqui, trading under the Tsuiseki name, from the Philippines (the “Operator”). These Terms form an agreement between you and the Operator when you access or use tsuiseki.xyz and related Tsuiseki-owned services.

Do not use the Service if you cannot lawfully accept these Terms. A parent or guardian is responsible where applicable law requires their permission for a younger user.

2. What Tsuiseki provides

  • Progress tracking, Library organization, Calendar and release information, explicit imports, exports, recommendations, and Tsuiseki-owned profile features.
  • User-requested connections to selected independent catalogue services, including MyAnimeList when enabled.
  • User-initiated links to independent third-party websites when a dependable destination is available.
  • An optional Supporter tier for Tsuiseki-owned capacity, preferences, cosmetics, and selected experiments.

Features may change, be limited, or be retired. Provider failures must not change your saved progress, but external availability can change without notice.

3. Accounts, connected services, and imports

You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for keeping access to your connected identity-provider account secure. Provide accurate information, do not impersonate another person or authority, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access.

A connected MyAnimeList account remains independent from Tsuiseki and is not a Tsuiseki sign-in method. Connecting authorizes bounded access for a user-requested connection, review, and explicit import; it does not promise continuing or two-way synchronization. You must disconnect the current MAL account before intentionally switching to a different one.

Connecting MAL does not import titles. A review creates a temporary, non-mutating preview. A separate import action may add only server-approved missing titles using approved tracking fields. Tsuiseki rechecks current capacity and identities when the import is committed. Existing Tsuiseki titles, progress, and status are preserved; conflicts, unsupported records, duplicates, retrieval failures, and over-capacity rows may be skipped.

Provider availability, account authorization, concurrent Library changes, or a changed Library limit may produce a partial or no-add result. A completed import does not update MAL and later MAL changes are not synchronized automatically.

Guest tracking may remain in your browser until you sign in or migrate it. Clearing browser storage can remove guest-only data.

4. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • use Tsuiseki to infringe copyright, privacy, publicity, or other legal rights;
  • submit arbitrary chapter, stream, download, torrent, circumvention, malware, or credential-bearing URLs;
  • probe, scrape, overload, bypass rate limits, defeat access controls, or interfere with the Service or its providers;
  • upload unlawful, abusive, deceptive, or impersonating profile material;
  • attempt to extract secrets, other users’ private data, administrative records, provider credentials, or another user’s import preview;
  • misrepresent a community, aggregator, catalogue, or connected service as affiliated, official, or licensed.

5. Independent services, websites, and media

MyAnimeList and external destinations are independently operated. Tsuiseki does not control their accounts, APIs, content, subscriptions, advertising, legality, safety, regional restrictions, availability, or data practices. A connection or provider label is not an affiliation, endorsement, legal guarantee, or promise of uninterrupted access.

Connecting MAL does not import titles by itself. A completed import creates independent Tsuiseki Library records that remain after MAL is disconnected unless you delete them. Opening a media destination never updates your progress automatically. Review each third party’s own terms and privacy policy before using it.

6. Supporter and billing

Supporter is optional. The complete basic tracker and enabled external destinations remain available without buying Supporter. Checkout and subscription administration are processed through Lemon Squeezy when billing is enabled.

Prices, taxes, billing interval, renewal terms, and any provider refund terms are shown during checkout. You can stop future renewals through Tsuiseki Settings when a managed subscription is active. Supporter access normally remains through the paid period confirmed by the billing provider. Mandatory consumer rights are not waived.

7. Tsuiseki content and your data

Tsuiseki’s name, interface, original artwork, code, and product-owned materials are protected by applicable rights. You may use the Service for personal tracking but may not reproduce or commercially exploit those materials without permission.

You retain rights in information you provide or request Tsuiseki to import. You grant the Operator only the limited permission needed to store, process, display to you, moderate, back up, and transmit that information to operate the Service.

8. Suspension and termination

The Operator may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address abuse, security risk, legal obligations, repeated infringement, payment fraud, or material violation of these Terms. Where practical, Tsuiseki will explain what changed and what data or access remains available.

You may stop using Tsuiseki at any time. Library export and connected-service controls are available from Settings for authenticated accounts. Requests concerning account access, correction, or deletion can be sent through the contact details below.

9. Disclaimers and responsibility

Tsuiseki is provided on an “as available” basis. Release dates, mappings, provider status, connected-service responses, imported metadata, translations, external links, and catalogue metadata may be incomplete or wrong. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Operator does not promise uninterrupted operation or that every external destination is lawful, safe, available, or suitable for you.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that applicable law does not permit the parties to exclude. Where liability may lawfully be limited, the Operator is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss caused by third-party services or events outside reasonable control.

10. Changes, law, and contact

Material changes will be published with a new effective date and, when reasonably practical, an in-product notice. Continued use after a change takes effect means you accept the revised Terms, except where applicable law requires another form of consent.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Philippines, without removing mandatory protections that apply to you in your place of residence.
